Eugene Shapiro is a seasoned satirical political novelist and screenwriter. His wit and intellect are results of majoring in political science in grad school, years of traveling the globe, serving in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War, working in India, driving New York cabs, and importing Burgundy wine. Shapiro resides in Northern California with his wife, Renée, his two Mexican rescue dogs, and today battles metastatic prostate cancer.
